Apples

An apple a day won’t keep the pesticides away. Eat them organic. Apples are top on lists of pesticide use. They are however filled with:
- antioxidants, particularly quercetin, a supplement that Sally has regularly prescribed for my allergies. According to a 2001 Mayo Clinic study, Quercetin also helps to prevent the growth of prostate cancer cells.
- pectin, a great source of soluble fiber that can help to lower bad cholesterol.
- boron, a mineral that prevents osteoporosis thanks to its amazing bone-building properties.
