Arugula is one of my favorite leafy things. I even like it on pizza (it’s a common topping in Italy.) Arugula is:

  • high in sulfur content and beta carotene which makes for healthy and beautiful skin.
  • highly alkaline helping to neutralize the body’s pH levels.
  • full of anti-cancer agents called glucosinolates which combat carcinogens.
  • very high in calcium and Vitamin K; two important elements to build healthy bones.
